Dr Gower is currently based at the Royal Veterinary College, where she is working on population genetic evaluation of different treatment strategies for schistosomiasis and economic evaluation of zoonotic schistosomiasis.
Her other research interests include the molecular diagnosis of schistosomiasis and paragonomiasis, and the ecology and evolution of parasites.
