The overall goal is to analyse data from vaccine trials and develop a stochastic simulation mathematical model to assess the impact of vaccination on the dynamics of schistosomes in individuals. The vaccine models will then be integrated into the existing deterministic and stochastic models for dynamics of helminth burdens in large-scale socially structured host populations undergoing regular Post Cycle Treatment (PCT) interventions.

She is working on the analysis of trial data on vaccine efficacy particularly impact on parasite establishment on challenge, parasite survival and egg production in vaccinated and control groups.
