Dr Timothy Littlewood
Tim is Head of Sciences and an Individual Merit Researcher, Parasitic Worms Group, at the Natural History Museum. He is a member of the Royal Society International Networking Panel, and Taxonomic Advisor (Platyhelminthes) to NCBI GenBank. He has previously held lectureships and research postions at King's College, University of London, and Rutgers University. His research interests include systematics of platyhelminths (flatworms), development and application of molecular tools for species diagnosis, mitogenomic and phylogenomic sequencing, and metazoan phylogenetics. He is also interested in biodiversity discovery, parasite life cycles, and diagnostics revealed through molecular systematics.
