LCNTDR Travel Grant Scheme 2019

Applications are open for the 2019 LCNTDR Travel Grants aimed at students (Masters level or higher) and early career researchers affiliated with a LCNTDR member institution (LSHTM, RVC, NHM, ICL). 

Awards are made for travel expenses for NTD field research or training (up to a maximum total of £1,000*), including:

• Return flight/train fare
• Accommodation
• Course fees (if travelling to attend a course)

Applicants must have their application supported by an Associate Director/Director of the LCNTDR: Dr Tim Littlewood (NHM), Prof Joanne Webster (RVC), Dr Rachel Pullan (LSHTM) or Prof Sir Roy Anderson (ICL).

How to apply
After receiving a nomination from one of the LCNTDR's Executive team, applicants are required to submit an application form to info [at] LondonNTD [dot] org (subject: Travel%20grant%20application)  .  

Deadline
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis between 1 August 2019 and 30 November 2019. Grants will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until grant funds are exhausted. Early applications are encouraged. Travel funds resulting from a successful application must be used by 30 April 2020.
