Professor Joanne Webster

Joanne is Professor of Parasitic Diseases at the Department of Pathology and Pathogen Biology, Royal Veterinary College, University of London, and at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London. She specializes in parasitic and zoonotic diseases. Joanne has experience in clinical research as well as operational research and implementation of large-scale NTD control programmes in sub-Saharan Africa and southeast Asia. She is also interested in how parasites and other pathogens can affect changes in both animal and human host behaviour.
