Dr Christian Bottomley

Christian's research interests are in statistics, mathematical modelling and epidemiology.
He collaborates with investigators in The Gambia and Kenya on studies to evaluate the introduction of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines into the routine childhood vaccination schedule.
Currently he is also the principle statistician for a trial in which antibiotics are being given to women in labour with the aim of reducing bacterial transmission to infants (PregnAnZI).
