Sussanah is a PhD student, based at both the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Imperial College London and the at the ZSL Institute of Zoology. Her research interests include disease ecology, zoonotic diseases, and wildlife conservation. Using a combination of mathematical modelling and serology, her PhD is looking at the implications of non-lethal exposure for the dynamics of rabies in both domestic dogs and African wild dogs, supervised by Professor Rosie Woodroffe, Professor Christl Donnelly and Dr Pierre Nouvellet.
