Shannon McIntyre

Shannon has a MSc Epidemiology from Maastricht University, and completed LSHTM's MSc Medical Parasitology in 2016. For her MSc Medical Parasitology thesis she modelled the potential impact of climate change on the dispersal of two cutaneous leishmaniasis vectors (Lutzomyia intermedia and Lutzomyia neivai) in Brazil. 

Shannon currently works as a research assistant on the Bill and Melinda Gates funded project 'Breaking transmission of VL in India: progressing beyond elimination as a public health problem'.
