The multidisciplinarity of parasitology: host-parasite evolution and control in an ever changing world

Organised by NHM's Dr Bonnie Webster and LSTM's Prof  Russell Stothard, the meeting will focus on progress towards understanding host-parasite relationships, with a particular emphasis on vectors and intermediate hosts of human diseases.  The meeting will also highlight the research contribution made over 40 years by former BSP President, NHM's Prof David Rollinson .

The meeting will be followed by an evening reception and a ticketed speakers' dinner with talks by Prof Sir Roy Anderson, Prof Joanne Webster, Prof Santiago Mas-Coma, Prof Juerg Utzinger, Prof Jozef Vercruysse, Prof Louis-Albert Tchuem-Tchuente and Prof Tim Anderson.

There will be a number of BSP student travel awards that enable younger members of the BSP or Linnean Society to attend and present their work.
